Paul Gilmore - Director and Trainer
Paul formed Activation in 2001. Having worked as a professional actor for over 20 years in TV Theatre and Film, Paul has designed and delivered numerous drama-based training programmes for a wide range of clients and training needs. His past clients come from both private and public sector organisations and include numerous NHS Trusts. He strongly believes that training which utilises and incorporates skills practice is the most effective way to bring about sustainable change. Paul also writes, directs and produces Activation's training videos.
Jane Eden - Trainer
Jane is an experienced facilitator, trainer, and coach. Jane works in the public and private sector. Most recently she’s worked with hospitals in south London, Lloyds Banking Group, AXA, and the Department of Work and Pensions. She specialises in working with people who have customers (internal or external) they need to build relationships with. Jane is licensed to facilitate the Strength Deployment Inventory, which helps people understand what motivates their behaviour, communicate at their best, and to build rewarding relationships with others. Jane has recently run a number of NHS Customer Care programmes for Activation.
Richard Waters (actor/facilitator)
Richard studies English at Surrey University before going to Drama School. He has worked with a number of clients focusing on how to deal with difficult conversations, be it managing up or down; and honing presentation and communication skills in order to radiate presence and authority. He has delivered, coached and acted in training focusing on Equality & Diversity, Personal Impact, Communication, Change Management and Managing Conflict. Richard is also an experienced travel journalist writing for Lonely Planet, Sunday Times, The Independent, Daily Telegraph and others.
Lucy Adams (actor/facilitator)
Lucy studied at the Drama Studio London, and has worked on Stage and TV. Lucy’s extensive corporate role-play experience includes: Performance management training with Barclay’s Bank, Glaxo Wellcome, Carebase, HM Customs & Excise. Diversity training with Birse Civils, Monitor, London Pension Fund and the Metropolitan Police. Recruitment training for Clifford Chance, Reynolds Porter Chamberlain & MORI. Customer Care Training for St George’s NHS hospital Trust, Epsom & St Helier NHS Trust, South London Hopitals and NHS Northwest conferences.
Pooja Shah (actor/facilitator)
Pooja has worked extensively in theatre, TV and film. Her work in the corporate sector includes medical role-play for students' exams, role play for Royal College of GP's and the Royal College of Psychiatry and for Guys hospital in London. She has worked on a number of diversity and bullying and harassment programmes as well as management development programmes exploring handling difficult conversations. Clients include Ministry of Justice, Job Centre and the NHS.
Danny Charles (actor/facilitator)
Danny is a highly experienced role-player and facilitator. His work includes management development programmes, Diversity workshops, Customer care work and numerous training workshops. He’s worked for both private and public sector clients including the British Council, JPMorgan, Pfizer, Foreign Office, MoD, Volkswagon, Royal Mail, London Underground, the Home Office and Metropolitan Police. Danny has worked on a number of Customer Care training programmes for London hospitals on behalf of Activation.
